FREE Orange Chicken from Panda Express

If you have a Panda Express in your neighborhood you should definately go visit them for a late night snack on June 1, 2012! You will recieve a single serving of Orange Chicken with no purchase necessary but who would pass up on the chance to add some rice or maybe some noodles to that order?!?

Donuts Anyone?!?

I love donuts!!! I love how the melt in your mouth when they have just been made and I especially love when I am able to get them from one of the following and luckily I have recently found a Krispy Kreme about 15/20 miles away and I am more than happy to drive that for donuts *wink*. Especially FREE ones... So mark this on your calendar...

Bedroom Redo

I love when I can redo my bedroom. I especially love when I can do it for under $50.

I already had the bed skirt so that wasn't a cost I had to incur...

I think it all came together very nicely... What do you think?

Wall Art

Thanks to an awesome sale at Michaels and a great coupon to go with it I was able to but 17 tubes of paint, 4 canvas' and a stencil for $12.00. I was so super excited about it because I needed something for my bedroom wall so I stepped up to the plate so to speak and go to work.

I painted a base of gray on all four canvas' and then started to put my stencil on. At first I was just going to use yellow but it needed to be toned down some so I lined up the white after it dried. It turned out so pretty and I love how it looks on my wall. It makes the plain white walls look a little more polished.

Car Seat Cover

So my beautiful friend Morgan is going to have a baby (very soon) and so I wanted to make her something that she loved. So she picked out some fabric and what she wanted me to make her and this is what she picked out.

I hope she loves this is as much as I do...

Note to everyone while sewing this don't make this mistake. I left the opening on the corner... bad, bad, bad idea. lol. Make sure your opening is on the bottom. ;) Helpful hint.

Hey y'all, so there was a "pin" on Pinterest showing how to not have jars of grease laying around your kitchen counter and so I tried it and I have to say it worked. All I did was get a bowl down and and line it with tin foil before pouring the grease in after a little bit the grease went solid and all I had to do was ball it up and throw it away. No more jars of grease for me...

Do any of you have any nifty kitchen ideas like this you do?

Blanket

I made the cutest lap blanket the other day and thought I would post a picture of it for you... I love sewing it is relaxing and it every time I get finish something it makes me crazy happy...
